Okay, imagine some mysterious people walked out of the desert wearing strange masks.

They found some drums.

They found some guitars.

They found a bunch of weird, noisy objects.

Then they started making spooky music around a campfire while pretending the world had already ended.

That’s Ak’Chamel.

Ak’Chamel are a mysterious Texas group known for masked costumes, strange rituals and a sound that mixes psychedelic desert music, experimental folk, hypnotic percussion and post-apocalyptic weirdness. Their live performances feel less like watching a regular band and more like accidentally discovering a secret ceremony in the middle of nowhere.

Joining them are Seattle instrumental troublemakers Diminished Men, creating dark, cinematic music inspired by film noir, psychedelic exotica, experimental rock and twisted surf music. In toddler terms: it sounds like sneaky detective music from a very strange cartoon.
