More than 50 years after the release of his legendary self-titled debut on Leon Russell's Shelter Records, Willis Alan Ramsey has returned to the stage for a rare run of live performances. His 1972 album has inspired generations of artists, with songs recorded by Jimmy Buffett, Waylon Jennings, Jerry Jeff Walker, Shawn Colvin, Captain & Tennille, New Grass Revival, and many more.

Though he has toured only occasionally over the years, Ramsey's songwriting has remained deeply respected by musicians and critics alike. Admirers including Lyle Lovett, Jimmy Buffett, and Shawn Colvin have all credited his work as a lasting influence on their own music.
