Get ready, Tacoma! A full-throttle night of psychedelic funk, infectious grooves, and mind-bending musicianship is coming your way!

Seattle's own CYTRUS brings their 2027 Winter Tour to Airport Tavern Music Hall on Saturday, January 23rd, with special guest SWAVY for a night guaranteed to get your feet moving and your head spinning.

CYTRUS

Described as "psychedelic power-funk," CYTRUS is an explosive eight-piece musical powerhouse blending funk, soul, disco, rock, jazz, hip-hop, and electronic music into a genre-defying sonic experience.

With soaring guitar solos, electrifying synthesizers, powerful horn arrangements, and deep, irresistible grooves, CYTRUS delivers a live performance that's equal parts dance party and psychedelic journey.

Following the release of their acclaimed albums Concentrate and Duality, the band continues to push musical boundaries, combining intricate compositions with improvisational energy that makes every performance a one-of-a-kind experience.

If you're into bands like Lettuce, The Motet, STS9, or classic psychedelic funk, CYTRUS belongs on your must-see list.

SPECIAL GUEST: SWAVY

Kicking things off is Seattle's SWAVY, bringing their signature blend of indie-funk, soul, jazz, and disco-inspired grooves.

Known for their infectious rhythms, smooth melodies, and dance-floor energy, SWAVY delivers a sound that feels both refreshingly modern and rooted in classic funk traditions.

With a growing following throughout the Pacific Northwest, SWAVY is the perfect addition to a night dedicated to all things funky.

TWO BANDS. ONE MASSIVE NIGHT OF GROOVE.

From deep-pocket funk and soulful melodies to psychedelic jams and explosive instrumental performances, this is the kind of night where standing still simply isn't an option.
