Vancouver modern-metal wrecking crew OPAL IN SKY hits Tacoma on the “Coming To America 2.5” Tour for a night of massive riffs, crushing breakdowns, soaring melodies and the kind of energy that turns a room into one giant pit.

Led by twin brothers Dylon and Tyson Opalinsky, Opal In Sky have built a rapidly growing following by doing heavy music a little differently — combining melodic metalcore, deathcore, progressive metal and djent with lyrics centered around perseverance, purpose and pushing through the darker parts of life. The result is music that can absolutely cave your chest in while somehow still leaving you feeling better than when you walked in.

Following Dream Shift and their brand-new 2026 release A Burden’s Purpose, Opal In Sky are bringing their newest material south of the border and straight to Tacoma.

Joining them is Seattle’s FOXCULT, bringing a completely different flavor of heavy. Their cinematic post-hardcore combines punishing guitars, huge atmospheric layers and emotionally charged songwriting wrapped inside an ongoing sci-fi universe. It’s heavy, haunting, melodic and built for fans who like their music with a little more depth than just breakdown-breakdown-breakdown.
