Vendors, food, music, and fun for the whole dang community.

It’s time for the 2nd Annual THORNSCRUBS PICNIC at La Rosa, a FREE Sunday afternoon hootenanny hosted by Tucson’s own Thornscrubs, aka Matt Baquet.

The event will feature a great lineup of local vendors and community folks, including See the Bees, CREAM, Wooden Tooth Records, Heliotrope Metal, Bajada Restoration, DRY Co-op, Tattoo the Moon, Diabla Ink, and others to be announced.

There’ll be something for the whole family, including a jumping castle, chicken sh*t bingo, a special BBQ at Sisters, and, of course, LIVE COUNTRY MUSIC.

The musical lineup includes Tucson’s own Priscilla Priddy & the Pretty Boys, Cactus Lee from Austin, TX, and THORNSCRUBS & friends with a special once-a-year performance featuring an all-star band and a rotating lineup of special guests. You never know what you’re gonna get…

We’ll close out the evening with Arizona’s favorite selector, DJENTS, coming down from Phoenix to close us out with a dance party.

The picnic is FREE thanks to the generous support of our community-minded sponsors, Wren House Brewing and DRY Co-op.

This year’s event will also support our friends at the Tucson Family Food Project, which help introduce children to healthy food they can take home, cook, and share with their families. Please consider making a donation to support their work.

Come hang out, eat some good food, dance to some country music, and enjoy a special Sunday afternoon with the whole dagnam Tucson community.
