The Regular is a folk rock band based in Denver, CO. Originally formed in Chicago, IL, in 2014, the band's frontman, Oscar Aguilar, began busking and recording music as a solo artist. In 2017, Oscar met keyboardist Spencer Adamson and the two relocated to Denver to form The Regular. Since then, they have added drummer Will Lachocki, lead guitarist Noah Thompson, and bassist Mateo Segovilla to the lineup. The Regular draws on an eclectic array of inspiration and approaches songwriting with sincere storytelling and an often punk-driven approach, which lends itself to rowdy and energetic live shows. After releasing a string of singles, the band released their first full-length self-titled album in 2023. The band is currently in the process of making their sophomore album to be released in 2026 and continues to headline shows across the Denver-Metro area.
