Sometimes when four musicians get in a room and just let the music happen, magic happens. That’s the case with Gretchen Menn, Daniele Gottardo, Michael Manring, and Scott Amendola.

Going into the first time playing together, they all held deep respect and admiration for each other. The concept was clear and open: let’s just play. While all accomplished and passionate composers, with each other they found a chance to explore something different and immediate. From the first note, the listening and chemistry moved the music into uncharted territory. Each player is used to both accompanying and soloing, so blending into the fabric of what was happening was natural. Stepping out and generating movement and motion in the music was also easy. But what was happening was something rare and beautiful, thoughtful and joyful: music created for this moment. And the journey that Gretchen, Daniele, Michael, and Scott will take you on is a unique adventure.
