Cartoons is drummer Charles Rumback’s eighth album as a leader. It’s his fourth release with his longstanding trio with pianist Jim Baker and bassist John Tate. On this recording however, the band is augmented to a quartet featuring Jeff Parker on guitar.

For this special concert the trio will perform first, and will be joined by violinist Mark Feldman and saxophonist Greg Ward for the second set.
