Rolling Stone calls Miko Marks’ voice a “marvelous instrument that imbues each
song with a kind of hard-won authority.” Born and raised in Flint Michigan, a
granddaughter of the Great Migration, Miko has a timeless sound and style that
evoke her family's southern roots. Blending gospel, country soul, blues and rock n
roll, she has become a crowd-favorite at venues and festivals across the country
and beyond.
Since returning to her recording career in 2019, after a 14-year hiatus, Miko has
released 3 new albums and toured extensively in the U.S. and Canada. She has
opened numerous shows for the Tedeschi Trucks Band, Little Feat, the Blind Boys
of Alabama, the War and Treaty and many more.
Miko is currently wrapping up production on her first blues album, set to release in
the Fall of 2026.
