LA NIÑA headlines the annual showcase of fresh sounds from Italy.

La NIÑA is the stage name of Carola Moccia, a Neapolitan singer-songwriter born in 1991. Rooted in Naples and shaped by its musical heritage, she writes and performs in Neapolitan dialect, weaving together canzone napoletana, alternative R&B, and electronic sounds into something entirely her own. Her 2023 debut album Vanitas was met with critical acclaim, followed by Furèsta (2025) - a Baroque- and tammurriata-inflected record exploring Neapolitan identity and organized crime, which earned her the prestigious Targa Tenco for best album in a regional language. Rolling Stone Italia called her "a hybrid between Teresa De Sio and Rosalía."
