TV Eye is thrilled to announce that K-HOLES are reuniting for their first show in over a decade on OCT 16 at a NY Night Train event with CRUSH, GENRE IS DEATH, and DJ JONATHAN TOUBIN!
One of the rawest and most compelling New York bands of the late-2000s to early-2010s, K-HOLES spent a few years churning out a handful of now-classic recordings on Subpop’s Hardly Art imprint and Chicago’s iconic Hozac Records while burning up the road before imploding with such force that they all scattered across the country to become members of aggregations such as SEXTILE, THE BLACK LIPS, and WARM DRAG. Tonight they converge upon their former home town for a one-off gig. This is the world's only chance to catch this killer band before they blow back to their respective regions.
Self-described “greasy leather lovebirds,” CRUSH, the gritty, eclectic, and experimental Black Lips side-project of singer/guitarist COLE ALEXANDER & sax maniac ZUMI ROSSOW, make a rare NYC appearance - also their first in many years.
These uncommon appearances will be bookended by two NYC institutions, In The Red Records’ No Wave noisemakers GENRE IS DEATH before and NYC DJ legend JONATHAN TOUBIN after.
Oct 16 | 7PM Doors | 8PM Music | $28 | 21+
