“With an electrifying blend of roots, blues, rock, and soul, and backed by a dazzling nine-piece band, Jeni Grouws pairs commanding vocals with a warmth that makes a room feel like it belongs to everyone in it. Grouws has a powerful, full and very expressive voice that can effortlessly switch between raw blues rock and more subdued soul.” - Walter Vanheukelom, ConcertMonkey, Belgium

It’s been a remarkable few months for Jeni Grouws. Since the release of her solo debut album in September, Music House, Grouws has been making waves across the international roots and blues scene. The album landed at #1 on Le Collectif des Radios Blues chart in France, Belgium and Quebec, #9 on The Big Blues Chart, and #22 on the Living Blues Chart, earning attention from listeners around the globe.

But the real magic happens when Jeni Grouws takes the stage with her incredible band. Her shows are equal parts fire and finesse, with moments that are fun, tender, funny, and deeply moving. Whether delivering a powerhouse vocal or bringing a room into a quieter, more intimate moment, Jeni has a rare ability to connect with an audience and make every show feel personal. She keeps things spontaneous, too. You never quite know what might happen next!

With powerful vocals, evocative songwriting, and a magnetic stage presence that balances strength with genuine warmth, Jeni Grouws is a compelling voice in American roots music. And an artist best experienced live.

Hailing from Omaha, Nebraska, Space to Play embodies the spirit of musical exploration, embracing a philosophy that transcends genre boundaries. The band thrives on creativity, inviting listeners on a journey where the music takes center stage.
