The Death and Taxes Swing Band is unavoidably swinging, and they’re bringing their high energy 40’s and 50’s dance music to the Sebastopol Hopmonk on Dec. 13 for an all ages matinee show.

At this special event, the afternoon will begin with a short beginner swing dance lesson. No partner needed. Then the band will take the stage to swing their way through holiday favorites. Jingle all the Way to the North Pole with holiday hits from the big band era. At the Sebastopol Hopmonk there is a great wooden dance floor and plenty of room to dance.

The Death and Taxes Swing Band specializes in danceable shows that feature all the nostalgia and fun you can imagine. With a wide variety of songs played at danceable tempos, this group welcomes beginning dancers, advanced folks, and even people that just want to sit and watch a great show that feels straight out of the 1940’s.

As a touring ensemble the Death and Taxes Swing Band have performed all over the world with recent shows in Indonesia, Portugal, Hawaii and even on an actual aircraft carrier. Come on out for some good old fashioned Holiday fun on Dec. 13!
