Daniella Rabbani is an actress, filmmaker, and internationally acclaimed Yiddish singer whose work bridges Jewish tradition with contemporary performance. Her highly anticipated debut album, Klezmerette, produced by Grammy Award winner Joanie Leeds and acclaimed klezmer musician Michael Winograd, is a bold reimagining of Yiddish music that celebrates Yiddish as a vibrant, living art form.

The album is accompanied by the documentary film Klezmerette, directed by Emmy Award-nominated filmmaking team BriGuel. The film follows Daniella’s deeply personal journey to reclaim and reimagine the music of her ancestors, exploring how Yiddish song continues to resonate with new generations.

Daniella has appeared in The Better Sister (Prime Video), Furious (Hulu), Scenes from a Marriage (HBO), God Friended Me (CBS), The Americans (FX), and Ocean’s 8. She has also appeared in multiple Drama Desk Award-winning productions, including Amid Falling Walls and The Golden Land. In addition to her work on stage and screen, she is the creator and host of the podcast Mom Curious and the voice of Madame Nazar in the Red Dead Redemption franchise.

For nearly two decades, Daniella has performed Yiddish music at venues including Jazz at Lincoln Center, Town Hall, SummerStage in Central Park, and the State Jewish Theaters of Warsaw and Łódź, Poland. The New York Times praised her as a performer who will “leave you twirling in the streets,” reflecting the humor, theatricality, and emotional depth she brings to every performance.

Join Daniella on October 15 at The Cutting Room for the live debut of Klezmerette - an evening of music, storytelling, and celebration featuring songs from the new album and a special preview of the companion documentary before its festival run.
