GRAMMY Award winner and one of The New York Times’ 30 Greatest Living Songwriters, Brandy Clark returns with her highly anticipated album, the bird. Produced by GRAMMY winner Shooter Jennings and recorded at Los Angeles’ Sunset Sound, the album features 11 masterfully crafted songs, including the powerful first single “American Roots.” It follows Clark’s acclaimed self-titled album and its standout track “Dear Insecurity,” which won Best Americana Performance at the GRAMMY Awards and Song of the Year at the 2024 Americana Honors & Awards.

Beyond her celebrated solo career and powerful live performances, Clark has written songs for some of music’s biggest names, including Kacey Musgraves’ “Follow Your Arrow,” Miranda Lambert’s “Mama’s Broken Heart” and the GRAMMY-nominated Brandi Carlile and Alicia Keys duet “A Beautiful Noise.” She also co-composed the music for the hit Broadway musical Shucked, earning a Drama Desk Award and a Tony Award nomination for Best Original Score.
