More about Honeygirl & The Sundusters:
Honeygirl is a Queen Creek, Arizona born country music singer/songwriter known for compelling storytelling, high-energy performances, and a versatile sound that spans traditional country roots to a rock-infused edge. Fronted by lead singer/songwriter Kira Brown and backed by a blend of seasoned musicians — including Scotty Johnson of the Gin Blossoms — honeygirl captivates audiences with heartfelt songwriting, good-timin’ live performances, and a genuine spirit that balances sweet southwestern charm with an unmistakable Arizona-grown grit.
Honeygirl’s passion for music started at an early age, inspired by watching her dad play bass during his weekly garage band jam sessions. Over time, honeygirl transformed her passion for music into performance, first as a local known "Kiraoke" queen and eventually into a country music career.
Though a natural lyricist and storyteller, songwriting became a central focus for honeygirl through organic collaborations with veteran guitarist and musician Scotty Johnson of the Grammy-nominated Arizona band Gin Blossoms. Together with a talented lineup of musicians, honeygirl is always where the party’s at - delivering high-energy performances filled with handwritten original music and crowd-favorite covers for the good timin’ kind.
