Founded to fill a gap in the nightlife landscape, TUFF draws inspiration from the iconic artwork of Tom of Finland, the energy of New York City's legendary leather bars, and the earliest intersections of queer nightlife and dance music. But TUFF is not an exercise in nostalgia. It is a contemporary interpretation of those influences, combining timeless aesthetics with world-class production, immersive environments, and a soundtrack rooted in the darker, sexier, and more adventurous side of dance music. The goal has never been to recreate the past, but to build upon it, transforming fantasy into something tangible and alive. Every event is designed to feel like stepping into a world that exists just beyond everyday life.

In just two years, TUFF has expanded to 17 cities across four continents, becoming one of the fastest-growing and most influential events of its kind. Along the way, we have proudly partnered with organizations including the Tom of Finland Foundation, Pride organizations across North America and Europe, and events such as Folsom Berlin, helping support and preserve the communities and cultural institutions that made spaces like this possible.
